Magnets on Robots?
 
Are magnets allowed on robots if they are for locking a pin in place and not in any way for hindering/damaging other robots?

See the flowchart (rule <R48>). My interpretation is that it is legal.

In general, yes. But specific examples like electromagnets used as solenoids or permanent magnets used in custom motors are not allowed. Consult the parts use flowchart in <R48>.
