I have always loved that quote. Another couple work hard quotes are:

"Chop your own wood, it will warm you twice."-Henry Ford

"“Give a man a fish; you have fed him for today. Teach a man to fish; and you have fed him for a lifetime”"
-I always thought this was a quote from Jesus, but I found a ton of different references as authors of this quote. Whoever said it I love its application to FIRST.

Lastly one of my favorites is:
"An open mind is an open door to opportunity."
Either I thought of this one a long time ago or read it somewhere when I was a kid.

A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools.

It's not in the Bible. I believe it's commonly attributed to Confucius or one of the other great Chinese philosophers.

The best way to predict your future is to create it. ~Peter Drucker

"There is nothing harder than being given your chance."
~ Deborah Chiel ~

"There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle."
~ Albert Einstein ~

"The greatest mistake you can make in life is to be continually fearing you will make one."
~ Elbert Hubbard ~

"To be nobody but myself -- in a world which is doing its best, night and day, to make you everybody else -- means to fight the hardest battle which any human being can fight, and never stop fighting."
~ E. E. Cummings ~
(1894-1962)

It's hard to pick just one... These are the top 5 most relevant to me right now... I keep a word doc on my desktop with my favorite quotes to keep me going when times are rough... And then there's fantastic movie quotes. :D

I used to love this one when I was in high school....

I heard this one from a friend while in Utah recently:

"If you're ever worried that tomorrow will never come, don't worry; it's already tomorrow in Australia.";)

We used to say that all the time when I was growing up in Australia. For some reason, it just never seemed to make much sense.

I can see it now... we build robotic kangaroos, and the human players ride in the pouches!

(With significant padding on the robots to prevent any injury, of course!)
