Team 2167 is exited to create a "homebrew" drive system... nothing ever atempted before. Yah... we are leaders in inovation fo-shure! Now... just if it works...

Depending on how precise you were with the wording of your post, this could very well be illegal.

Our team has decided (through democratic voting and discussion...) to use a three-wheel drive system, with a steerable, powered third wheel.

The final thing is going to look a lot like a forklift.

2 wheel drive (ifi traction wheels) with 2 speed transmissions. should be a fun time!

195 without treads?!?! :ahh: Two of the Northeasts most prominent tread users have gone to wheels (61 and 195)? Have us wheeled folk finally won the war? :D To all teams who are considering treads, don't. When was the last time you broke a wheel in a very important match. (The last sentence does not apply to Skyway wheels, especially those used by 1902)

What is illegal about a 2 speed? Previously designed mechanisms are allowed, providing you rebuild them, and I'm highly confident that 195 reads the rules.
