Who's a Lifter?
 

It seems that lifting would be a difficult thing to accomplish in the upcoming copitition, so I ask, who out there can lift robots or are planning to do so?

Not us. We thought about it, and decided there will be enough lifters, so we can focus on good, consistent scoring. We think the alliance selections to go something like this: The pickers will be the robot who can score the best and get onto other robots, the first round picks will be the robots who can score well, but haven't picked or been picked yet, and the second round picks will be the lifers/defenseive bots who don't score as well. Hence, each alliance will have two good scorers, and a decent scorer who can lift.

There have already been a couple threads asking about lifting or scoring.
