Re: Post pics of your whip!!!
What do you guys think of the B13 Sentra? I am thinking about getting one of those, then importing the Tsuru(Méxican B13 Sentra, that Nissan still makes as a new car in México, since it is such a great seller, they just made it more modern on everything else.) headlamps, and a Sunny front bumper. I really want the B13 SE-R as a starting point.

Re: Post pics of your whip!!!
For reliability reasons, I would probably keep it N/A. The turbochargers are really fussy at times, so I'd rather have reliability than power. Besides, too much power through the front wheels is not fun. Unless of course you mean the Nissan Pulsar GTi-R motor, then of course, I would do it.

For now, did you know, that a Supra actually makes 330bhp, and 310 lb ft of torque? And that the Nissan Skyline, 328bhp, and IIRC. 350lb ft of torque. The reason the highest you always saw Japanese cars at 276bhp(280ps) was of the so called "Gentleman's Agreement" that no car would be rated at over 280ps, to keep everything in check. Acura, however officially broke it with the release of the RL, with its 300bhp. That is only a REALLY small amount of how much I know. I'm called the car encyclopedia by my friends. :p |

Thats way too much for a raddo with that many miles. I see vr6's go on vwvortex.com for $5-6k with less than 100k miles all the time, with mods. The only reason I bought the jetta vs a corrado/ gti is because they are a lot easier to come across. |
Re: Post pics of your whip!!!
that and cars are cheaper in the US. I have this sortof saying or theory, however you may call it. Cars are more expensive in Canada because the education is cheaper, Cars are less expensive in the US cause everyone got ripped off on education. (maybe ripped off is exagerating but you know what I mean)

Ya, i cant disagree fully with that, my tuition is $25k a year:D . On another note: How strict are emisions in Canada? Is it possible to bring one from the US over to Canada? SInce you live in Canada, you have the option of buying a 1995, they stopped making them in 94 over here. There are still a few 95s cruising around over here though. There is a local guy selling his 95 vr6 for $10K:ahh: |
Re: Post pics of your whip!!!
Wow stop making me drool, customs will tell me to bend over if i try to bring a car in especially if it's not domestic. I believe its 20% customs and 14% tax from the value of the car on the market...not what I bought it for....by the time i get to emissions my wallet will have a big hole in...well it has one in it already but still :D

Hopefully this will be parked in my driveway soon....I'm just waiting for the auto place to call me back. I test drove a 2.4L auto...ehh...not really my style. I told them to find me an R/T, either auto or stick, because i'm not picky....(i've driven a stick for two years....big deal)....Soon my friends....soon. ![]() ![]() i'm not a fan of the red...i like the deep blue pearl way better. |
