Arefin,
May you get better soon so we can hang out again in Atlanta.
FIRST just would not be the same without you.

Arefin,
I hope and pray that you will be better soon. Meanwhile, be nice to the nurses, do what the doctors tell you, and take care of yourself as best you can. (Yeah, I know, you don't need me telling you to be nice. :) But sometimes it's easy to forget the obvious things when you're sick.)

So last night I got this...

friend: what the h--- happened to arefin?

Ok, then there's his AIM away message today. Ok, didn't think much of this either.

Wow, college does make you smart, but at the same times makes you really stupid and trapped in your little world.

Please get better buddy. :(

I know he was concerned about telling to everyone because of the way he is, a lil stubborn at times. But I hope he can see that so many people care about him and I am glad you all do. It is hard to find really good friends but I know in FIRST there are so many people out there that care about one another. So thank you for all caring and being good friends to one another on the field and off. We all have moments of disagreement but in sad times likes these the FIRST community seems to pull together. It just makes the outlook of some situations a lil bit better knowing how wondering the FIRST community is.

Arefin, I hope you feel better soon :)

Re: prayers and support from team 1345

Wow, over 60 posts in this thread? I gotta say that I didn't expect this.

... it isn't AS serious as it sounds. I am fine. For over half a year I would get pain in the backside of my head. Finally I decided to get it checked out. The cause of the pain is being purely stress. I went through some testings today, I will get results back early next week, but I am not worried.

I am doing a lot better now as far as stress goes. I don't think I will be leaving FIRST (that's what I was worried about if I was told that I need to make my workload less in order for me to not to be stressed out), I can't literally afford to leave something like FIRST.

Tytus came over tonight, I had a long conversation with him about what has been going on and how I have been reacting to things. After talking things out with him, I believe I am in much better position right now than I was earlier today in the morning.

Friends really help when you are breaking down from all sides, Tytus showed me that tonight, so did every single one of you. Reading this thread brighten up my day and I am so glad that I have friends' support when I need it the most.

As far as health condition goes, I am strong enough to handle it. Nothing will happen to me. This also showed me how much my team cares about me. Never thought this is the way they felt. All I can say is thanks for every single one of your support.

... if I never left in first place, you guys won't have to worry about looking for me in future. See you guys at competitions.
