I fixed the pneumatic, its working perfectly.
I honestly don't know what was wrong other than it was a code/wiring problem (which is about everything, yes) The link was the most helpfull. I learned how the spike worked and how to map it on the code. then I just wrote it. I first programmed it to run on two spikes and then on one spike.

We have done the same for a couple of years. It is very useful. I would tell you more but it sounds like everyone else has covered what I would have said. Good luck!
