Re: pic: 612 Drive System
Looks like the wheels on the closest side are up off the ground a bit. How much does the 'bot wobble?
Looks good, otherwise. Nice wheels. Messy electronics. What's bolted on top? A polycarb sheet? |
Re: pic: 612 Drive System
I believe that the center wheels are lowered 1/4", so the bot has a fair bit of rock.

Electronics are really not messy; but when they are mixed with pnuematics, i think it just looks like it. Top is just a piece of wood right now.........don't ask why :-p |

Once the weight is more finalized, you should beef up the hardware at the corners of the chassis a bit. |

Re: pic: 612 Drive System
it is currently a 1/8th inch offset it seems to be running better this way now. Before we found the 1/4th inch offset a little bit to much.

How tall does the drivetrain stand at the time of the picture, without the arm or the other peripherals? |

But my statement is true. It has a fair bit of rock, it just never uses it because of the current weight distribution. :) |
Re: pic: 612 Drive System
yeah we are going to have to make it rock properly it should soon, the whole drive base is 60lbs
