It's a beauty. Can we expect to see that in action at Swamp Scrimmage?

It looks like the compressor head has been rotated 90 degrees....

I have no idea what that would fall under...but the compressor is thought of as a motor.
Just wondering if that would be modifying a motor...if not than man thats a great idea.

Seeing all of these robots makes me a little jealous, compared to our plain-o robot with nothing special. I am always impressed by teams that spend time and effort to make their robot really stand out on the field.

And I do like the violet. ;)

Hey Tytus and 1889, Nice frame thus far. I like the fact that its painted, what already puts it visually above so many robots.

Is it an accident that it says Haze, is that the name of this Beast?

The team name is H.A.Z.E, and in a reference to the song "Purple Haze" by Jimmi Hendrix, we chose a purple color scheme. :)

As far as I know, the robot doesn't actually have a name yet. Any ideas? :p

Ugly....

Just kidding Jaine. I think that 'Smog' is a good place to start. SOme things that i think of with the whole purple yellow thing, though are 1) Kobe and the Lakers and 2) Purple Orchids.

But, as far as Haze is concerned, you could either name it Band Camp (hazing), or on a more Hazy note, name it Smoky (only YOU can prevent Magic smoke!!!)

Play with that if you want. Seems like a fun idea to me.

Btw, sorry tytus is you don't like the picture.

When looking for a name a good place to start is dictionary.com. I often use the thesaurus to at least get my ideas flowing. Just type in words that relate to the robot. I tried 'haze' and 'purple'. Both came up with several notable names.
