Planetary trouble

Does anybody else have trouble with the planetary gears, and if you figured it out help us out, our gears broke or something.

There has been a lot of discussion about this recently, see some of these threads

The big black/chrome planetary gearboxes are the 56mm type, the smaller one is the 36mm type.

Try taking apart the troubled gearbox and take a look around. They come apart quite easily, and believe it or not, are quite simple.

oh man, we had the same problem. Our fault was that there was a small disc that stops the gears from moving up and down or else the gears get chewed, and we forgot to put the disc in :( .
