Issue with downloading code to the 2007 RC
 

My team tried to download a program to the RC for the first time today and we kept getting an error saying that the robot was not on, or the serial cable was not connected. But our robot was on and plugged in and in programmed mode. Can any one help?

did you check the back up battery the robots some thimes throw a fit when its dead or all most dead:p

Check all of your connction, you may have a dead cord. And make sure that you have all of the proper drives instraled. Also, in the top right corner of the download window, there should be a button to change the com ports, yo can find out which port you need by going to the device manager in the my coputer properties. Check all of that and try it.

Under Build and Download -> Loader Setup is where to change your com ports.
