lol I love that red t-handle.

How are those custom-machined 80/20 linear slides working out?

very nice, can it reach up to the top spider?

are you using a pulley to extend/retract the arm?

The T-handle was temporary, and has has been replaced by a bolt. We changed the design so it does not require delrin inserts between the 80/20 runners. We just slip one section into the next. It has very low friction if kept vertical.

When the suction cup reaches the top limit, the yellow tape keeps pulling it, and the spring-mounted horizontal arm rotates the pool tube upward, to just the right height for the top goal.

We are using the FP motor to drive a winch, which winds up the yellow polypropylene webbing strap. The elevator works like a fork lift, where all the vertical sections rise up at the same time. It seems very effective, and can move from the lowest position to the highest in ~ 3 seconds, which was our design goal.
