Different Style Chassis'
 

How many teams tha are building ramps have made there ramps accomodate for the wider framed chassis's? I honestly did not expect to see as many wider chassis as I have seen so far. So I was just curious how many built there ram for the wider 38x28 robot rather than the 28x38 robot?

The question shouldn't be how many teams are going with a 38x28 robot, but rather how many teams are designing robots with ramps or lifts that will be able to accommodate a 38x28 robot in the end game? It seems that the robots with lifts could probably elevate them OK. Most of the ramps that have been posted would probably not work well with them. If the 38x28 configuration yields a robot better at offense (i.e. higher rack scorer) than a 28x38 configuration, would the ramp robots that can only elevate a 28x38 robot be less in demand. Or, if you agree that most ramps can not elevate a robot with the 38x28 configuaration, would that configuration be less in demand as an alliance partner?
