Nice, alot better than the electronics our first year.

It looks very nice for the top board. Clean layout. Inspectors want to see everything, so I assume you have a method for flipping the top and looking at the lower board, right?

Thanks Al!!

Yes the top board flips up and over to view the lower area with the speed controllers and the rest of the electronics...

Coming from you that is true praise... I just started a team out here in Seattle. I used to run the Pike RoboDevils (Team 1018) out of Indianapolis... you probably don't remember it because you help so many other teams but you helped us our rookie year in Chicago (Stack Attack) when we had all sorts of problems with our drive train...

Out here it was tough starting... I don't really have any engineer-mentors but lessons learned in the Midwest from folks like you and all the other teams and mentors have sure given us a jump start..

Have a great season this year... I will miss seeing everyone..

:)

Looks nice, the concept of the top flipping out is very clever.
However, I just want to point out if you're not using 12 spikes, you dont have to put in those breakers in every slot. Removing those extra ones can save you weight as well (at least when you have the same weight issue as us).

OK Bob. If you have any problems don't forget to ask. Congratulations on starting a new team. Good Luck!

Bob,
Nice layout. I like the standoffs too, it allows you to run wiring under things to keep it neat. We have a flip up "mezzanine level" also with our RC and custom electronics on top. One point though, I see your main 120amp CB is on the lower level, I hope the inspectors don't give you any problem with its' accessibility. We opted to put our main CB at the toplevel on a fixed mount to avoid any inspection issues. Great job - good luck! Dana
