Team Questions

We are currently designing a checklist that we will use to ask other teams things about their robot before we compete in a match. What would be some usefull questions we could ask concerning other peoples robots before the match?

Re: Team Questions

Here is something you might like.
A simple template you can use

Team Name:

Does the robot have lifting capabilities?

If yes:

How many robots can it lift?

How high?

Can the robot score on the rack?

If yes:

On which levels?

Can it de-score(move Spoilers)?

What weight/height class is the robot in?

Where, if at all, can the robot acquire Ringers from?

What type of drives does the robot have?

Does the robot have bumpers?

Re: Team Questions

Also ask them what strategy they normally take during a match, if they normally defend or score etc.

also how many ringers can they place during a match?

do they have auton. and what does it do?

Re: Team Questions

you might want to ask what it can do during atonomous mode and what level on the rack they can score on during atonomous mode.

Re: Team Questions

It might be nice to ask about the following as well:

Drivetrain type:
Transmision type:
Min/Max Speeds:
Drive Motors:

Lift speed:
Lift reliability:
# of ringers/spoilers in 2 mins:

Hope u found that useful
