Any object can programmed, which in turn means that all objects in the planet are buggy and don't work the first time, AND are susceptible to virii. The world is a terrible, unstable place.

Ok, it no longer has weight/stability issues, but it now has movement issues and can only sit around in your home zone taking up space.
