Okay, this is something I found out about a while back from another forum I used to be a member of. Pretty much, you make a wish, then the next person to post "grants" your wish, but twists the results so that it's basically messed up and demented. For example:

P1: I wish I had a million dollars.
P2: Okay, but on your way to deposit it, Russian ninjas attack you, slit your throat, steal the money, and throw your body in the ocean. I wish I could go to Japan.

And so on and so forth. It gets pretty amusing after a while. Okay, I'll start.

I wish people would shut up about Anna Nicole Smith.

And when they do, they will just start talking about some other famous person and that person will get to popular and they would have been born with powers to control peoples minds and then they would start to take over everything and then you would wish they woulda just kept taklking about her.

Granted, but then your drive train and any other mechanical parts crap out with a little more than a week until the ship date and you guys are unable to fix them in time:ahh:

Ok, but by doing so you miss all your robotics meetings, and as a result, your robot isn't built on time.

The surrounding towns will get mad because they are losing all of their business to your town and they will riot with pitchforks and torches and OI's to take over your robot and re-program it so you won't be able to compete in the competitions.

Granted:
But the school budget is used up plowing all the snow and since they see the robotics team isn't capable of building a functional robot (due to all the missed meetings) they cancel the program to save money.

I want to design a feature lenght animated movie that is Oscar worthy.

Your robot goes somewhere, all right. It flies out of the field and runs over the ref on its way to putting your state governor in the hospital. The governor came to the competition because he liked the invitation letter YOU wrote to him when you did Dean's homework.

OK, but then you loose all of your ability to build and program robots, so you eventually just start doing nothing as the slow and painful process of not wanting to do something as much completely destroys your life and eventually kills you. But on the good side, at least you aren't doing robots as much anymore.

Any object can programmed, which in turn means that all objects in the planet are buggy and don't work the first time, AND are susceptible to virii. The world is a terrible, unstable place.

He agrees, you buy his house, move in, and get totally lost in it. Your skeleton is found 1 year later on Kickoff Day. You never get to see any of the new teams or regionals you financed.

Okay, but you'd feel compelled to use them all, and start wishing for useless things, and then get screwed up by all of your wishes, and get depressed, and wish that someone would have corrupted your wish for more wishes, so that you bring us back to where we started :)

Yes, but then your team gets mad at you because they can't blame the programmers anymore. They mutiny, throw you off the team, send a mechanical guy to completely screw up/corrupt the code, and then send a rookie programmer to fix it.

Granted, but then, Linux gets to the point that it is no longer free, and every version of it has 12 versions of them, so you don't know what one to choose. Also, they all start with a BSOD ever 13 start ups.
