My dream job is to be a Technology Education teacher at a school with a FIRST team. Then I would like to move up in the system to become the superintendent and make it so all the schools would have some sort of FIRST in them.

My Team is from Paterson. NJ team 1881. And like to me a mechanical engineer for a cutting edge engineering company like Boeing, iRobot, Lockheed Martin, the CIA(lol). First has giving me practice on make something from paper to aluminum.

I'm working with some guys on starting a after school robotics program for kids that have parent(s) in prison. Either with FIRST, BEST, BallBot, or some other group. Something to get the kids interested in more than just sitting in front of the TV playing vid games and helping them stay in school. These kids need something more to choose from that joining the local street gang or running dope for the local dealer.

My dream job... well I've actually had a couple dream jobs. Trouble is after getting them they turned out to be more of a nightmare than dream!
My fav was as a NC DOT QMS QC / NDT... aka the guy that tested new roads using a nuclear density gauge!
Problem was the company I worked for was sold and I refused to work for the new owners.

My next dream job... working for a small electronics company building components or working at a small machine shop making parts with a CNC.

Of course getting paid for building virtual locos and rolling stock for train simulators (MSTS or a VR) would be most excellent! :D

I am from Team THRUST 1501 from Huntington, IN.

I have to go with Koko Ed on this one. I too would love to either work for Disney or Jim Henson's Creature Shop.

Or if I wasn’t married yet. I would love to be the light designer for Trans Siberian Orchestra and travel with them to different shows for about one year…

Or I would love to be on MythBusters with Grant. Gosh I love that show!

My slightly more far fetched goal is to become a weapons engineer (not something you see often...).

At the same time, I'd like to make some severe political changes in the US government system....

I do not have a dream job [yet]... even though I am a senior :ahh: But I do know that ever since I have been involved with FIRST, I knew I wanted to do something along the lines of what I did in FIRST, even being involved with FIRST in some way. I just have to thank FIRST for opening so many possibilities for me, as well as other students. Without FIRST, I doubt I'd be the person I am today. That being said... my dream job, I guess after saying that small but there, would be incoperating FIRST, in some way, into my life.

I teach Lego Robotics at an after school program in the city of Ft. Lauderdale, it is an awesome job because I have a group of about 10 kids who I see twice a week and we are working on getting them ready for FLL this september

other dream jobs that I have is to actually work for Lego

I'm an alumni of Team 461 (West Lafayette, IN Westside Boiler Invasion), and a current student in Engineering at Northwestern University.

Dream job - there's something about that idea that makes me smile, because I can only imagine how something that awesome will catch me by surprise someday.

I'm a Biomedical Engineering major, and considering working with Biorobotics for medicine applications. I want to be able to travel. I want to do new things, work with great people, and help those in need. From there - I guess time will tell!

1. I was on 116, in Northern Virginia. Now in Richmond.
2. My goal in life is to be happy and (not now. later.) provide for a happy family.

FIRST got me out of a bad direction in high school. It did make me realize that I didn't like specific engineering, but that I enjoyed strategy and planning. I'm now a Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness major at VCU, with a minor in Religious Studies. I hope to do policy planing work, and have gotten to participate at the state level already. I'm really excited about the next few years of my life. :)

My Dream Job would have to be working for google, as either a programmer, web developer, or just someone that thinks up ideas. Google is one of the coolest, fastest growing companies ever.

I'm from team 716 in the middle of nowhere Falls Village, CT.
I would love to become a mechanical Vo-Ag teacher/ FFA advisor, and be a robotics team mentor :) . Not only that but after college come back to Falls Village and take over my mechanics teachers spot and mentor team 716 :rolleyes: . If not a job at any school wolud be good, and if they don't have a team at that school yet start one.
