Solder, Anyone?

Does anybody know if it is OK to use a soldered splice? I'm wiring in the solenoids for the pneumatics, and the wires need to be longer.

I haven't seen any rules that prohibit solder splicing wires, and techniques are discussed in the guidelines, Tips, and Good practices manual.

Soldered splices are legal. You can also get uninsulated butt/parallel splices and heat shrink at radio shack and use that.

I like soldering and using heatshrink for insulation.
