We can score in six seconds, what do we do in the other nine? ;)

Very Impressive.

Did you try out your autonomous with multiple lights?

Holy cow, WAY cool!

So fast that it's not easily blocked, either.

Note that most alliance partners that can do this will be going for the same spider leg, so consider getting it to pick the leg between two lights...

WAY cool! Did I say that yet?

Don

Yep, works just the same. Ditto for multiple positionings, alignings, being defended.

Well, since that has been released to the public, I guess I can start uploading some "teaser" pics now eh Mike? lol :p

But yes, we tried both single and multiple targets, and it's a little more tricky, but not impossible.

See everyone in NJ, Hartford and Atlanta!

There is only one way to describe this Auto...

... HAWT =)

... oh yea... so the rest of the time, you guys chase Elgin around? =D

Funny thing about that. lol I touched the robot today, and was told in joking (sort of) "You aren't alllowed to touch the bot!"

And when we tried Auto mode literally RIGHT after that, it went backwards and hit me when I was sitting behind it. No explanation why, no change in the autonomous code. Aye. :ahh:

It hates me. :(
But I love it anyways.:)

Kinda like a weird relationship I got going on there eh? :p

Looks very impressive. As always, 237 seems to have the very best autonomous modes earliest on. Are you able to score on all three of the spider legs? What about the other side of the field?

Are those faces on the front of the spider legs?

Thanks for the compliment.

We don't have the means to test the other side of the field, thats going to be a regional-thursday project (if we even decide to do it). We can score on middle and bottom legs, we haven't tested top.

And yes, those are pictures of our three engineering mentors. Expect to hear a lot of "Go for Sean! SEANNNN!!!" coming from the 237 driver's station.

sweet auto! I have to ask, what are the pictures on the "diamondplate" part of your spider leg?

<eeeeeeemoooooo> I didn't make the cut. :( </eeeeeeemoooooo>
LOL It's all good though. Too bad we didn't have 4 spider legs. :p
It was a great joke to put their faces on the scoring plates, and at first, every time we hit them with the grabber we would all say "Pow, Right in the Kisser!" ( a Family Guy reference.)

We have the preset scoring position buttons labeled with their names for our control panel as well.

We work hard during build, but we know how to have fun & play hard too!
It keeps us (semi)sane. LOL :yikes:

wow nice and fast. Hope we get to play with you guys. I think our autos would go together very well.:]

If I can get access to the robot I'll get videos of it scoring from the side and with two lights tonight.

Re: The T.R.I.B.E's 2007 Autonomous

Very impressive. Our autonomous is similar (I'm trying to see if we have video), and not quite as fast (our arm is slightly slower) and we don't use the camera[1]. And, quite frankly, you're is looking a bit more reliable.

I like the idea of backing away, I think we'll back away more than we are currently to let someone else score.

Good luck, hope to see you on the field.
