Hye, Indiana FIRST Teams, could you help me out?

Are any of the Indiana teams going to a demo at the Statehouse and want to tell me when it is? I remember that 393 went last year, along with some other teams, but we haven't heard anything about it this year?
Is it happening?
When is it?

393 would like to attend again, if we know when it is.

Any information you have would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Outreach Team of 393

The TechnoKats are going this year, and supposedly it is going to be bigger than ever before! The date is 2/28/07 I believe. I will ask around and tell you the exact time and date when I edit this post.

The demo at the state house is on the 27th. I would guess things will kick off pretty early, like 10am-ish. If you need to contact the person who organized the demo PM me and I will give you his phone number.

Team 1501 is planning on being there also.
We are also brining our new carpet and the Aim High goal.

I understand there will be VEX bots there too - are these to play the Aim High game, the Hangin'-A-Round game, or the Anderson game?
BTW 1529 will be there with Lucky (2006 FRC bot). See you there!

The TechnoKat students will no longer be going down, there was some miscommunication, but the back-up bot will still be there, so it's all good. We can turn more focus back towards being ready for STL.

Here is the message I got:

Just a reminder that we can set-up at the Statehouse at 11:30 am on
Tuesday (2-27-2007)... We are in dire need of carpet if you have some you can
transport.

See you guys there.

Scratch that, again, we, the students, now have clearance from the school to go tomorrow.

I'm here right now with the youth bot competition (founded by people from archerGEeks 1022) and it is pretty big.

In my eyes, the visit to the Statehouse was a smashing success. I think each team certainly fulfilled Dean's homework via their participation. I got a ton of positive feedback from legislators and gov't officials. Kudos to Dan Ward for orchestrating this event.
Unfortunately, Governor Daniels was not in attendance - he's at a STEM conference in DC. (STEM = Science, Technology, Engineering & Math).
