IFI> Prompt
Okay, well I have been wondering for some time now about the IFI> loader prompt that is seen during various times from the Controller.
It seems like the prompt is used in conjunction with the IFI loader app in some way, but I am not sure. It is also appearing when I do not have an OI connected. A second part of this question is: How do I use a controller without an OI?:ahh: Apparently this is impossible, but since the entire code is open to change, couldn't it be modified to just simply allow the program port access (so I can test if my terminal program is actually working or not). Simply: How do I use the IFI> prompt and what can I tell it? and How would I go about enableing program port access (only?) even if the controller is not connected to the OI?:o I discovered that I had everything I needed for development but the OI (even had the joystick!). If there is nothing I can do, I would still like some info on IFI> Thanks! |

Re: IFI> Prompt
I have seen that thread, and posted on it as well.
Don't you need an OI to set the team number? :yikes: I just want info on what the IFI> prompt and how to utilize it. |
Re: IFI> Prompt
Search the forums for "programming protocol". There's a thread with pointers to what I think you want here (see especially posts #35 and #41).
