**FIRST EMAIL**/Championship Qualification and Registration Process
 

Greetings Teams:

Any team qualifying at a Regional event to attend the Championship (CMP) must register via the Team Information Management System (TIMS) in order to attend.

Teams who qualify are:

1. Regional Chairman's Award winners (1 per Regional)
2. Regional Engineering Inspiration Award winners (1 per Regional)
3. Regional Rookie All-Star Award winners (1 per Regional)
4. Regional Winners (3 or 4 per regional event)

Registration Process:

• Login to TIMS ( http://www.usfirst.org/robotics/res_art2.htm) the Monday following your event and after 9:00 am EST;
• Proceed to the "Event Registration" section, click on the "Go" link and then "Add Event" to register your team for the Championship accordingly;
• Pay by credit card online or make payment arrangements with Finance by calling 800-871-8326, exts. 414 or 450 (please note your team will be in pending status until paid)

**IMPORTANT** You must both register and make payment arrangements by 5:00 pm EST Tuesday following your event. If you fail to do so, we can not guarantee your spot.

Shipping to the Championship for Qualifying Teams

FIRST will provide Shepard Exposition Services (SES) with FedEx donated shipping airbills at each regional event for CMP qualifying teams. If your team qualifies and needs an airbill to ship the robot to Atlanta, please see a Shepard Representative.

US teams that qualify for the CMP at a regional please note the following:

• If you use the FedEx online donated shipping you may (but are not required to) print an airbill from FedEx Online to ship your robot to the CMP instead of procuring one from SES. You will need access to a computer and printer- these are NOT provided by FIRST at the events.
• If you received two (2) domestic hard copy FedEx airbills (i.e., you are not located within the 48 contiguous United States) use your second airbill to ship your robot to the CMP. Do not get a new airbill from SES.

Shipping Home from the Championship

All teams attending the CMP will be given their "ship home" airbill in Atlanta at registration.
