BAE Systems Granite State Regional Weather Delay

BAE Systems Granite State Regional Weather Delay

FIRST AND BAE SYSTEMS ANNOUNCE THE DELAY OF THE BEGINNING OF THE FIRST ROBOTICS COMPETITION AT THE VERIZON WIRELESS ARENA IN MANCHESTER TOMORROW. THE FRIDAY, MARCH 2 START TIME HAS BEEN DELAYED TO THE FOLLOWING:

DOORS OPEN/PITS OPEN: 9 AM

OPENING CEREMONIES: 10 AM

NEW MATCH SCHEDULE: 10:30 AM – 5 PM (APPROXIMATELY)

CLOSING CEREMONIES: IMMEDIATELY AFTER MATCHES END

THE INTENTION OF THE DELAY IS TO ENCOURAGE THE TEAMS AND VOLUNTEERS TO TAKE THE APPROPRIATE AMOUNT OF TIME TO COMMUTE IN ANTICIPATION OF THE FORECASTED SNOW STORM.

Ahhh I don't know what to do!

This has never happened before!

What's odd is that at around noon-time, there wasn't a single cloud in the sky.

I remember it was noon-time cause we were out getting lunch at that point :D.

(unless you're not there yet, in which case I suggest you use the extra time for travel. I-93 can be very nasty in bad weather)

are you new to new england, i say tomorrow by the end of the day, there isnt snow on the ground from the sun melting it because of our lovely weather

Yeah, soinded like there was rain following the snow which mean it'll get knocked down pretty good and make a watery mess f things. Lot's of basements are due to be flooded.

We aren't taking the highway tomorrow. It shouldn't take us much more than half an hour to there. I think it took us half an hour to come home through the back way.

Haha. No, I've lived here my entire life. I was actually just being overly dramatic.

And yeah. I wouldn't be surprised it if all melted away by the end of the day.
Maybe my car will actually get washed! :cool:

Well, two members of 229 just completed the 6 hour drive down from potsdam new york and we met very little snow only a few dustings, hopefully this will hold out until tomorow, sky is looking pretty clear. good luck teams
