Eddie, it's not the same thing, but whatever. I'm a fan of the "alliance era" of FIRST, not really the 1 on 1, tipping bots like *cough* Aquatread *cough* that you so often bring up ;)

FIRST combat and the combat on the TV shows are two whole different animals all together. In FIRST combat it is more of a defensive manuver type combat, to prevent another team from accomplishing a goal. On TV it is most often just Kill! Kill! Kill! type of combat.

Today in class we were asked to write an essay on an evil in the world and just coming from Engineering i wroteon how it was evil that FIRST wasnt as nationally known as Battlebots....lol i need rest.
