Autonomous keepers

in the rules it specifies starting locations allowed for the keepers. It says that "each robot may start the match in posession of one keeper." and that the keeper "must be in contact with a robot". First (haha) off, isn't touching the robot in the requirements for a ring being "in posession"?

My real question is whether having a ring on the ground in front of you just touching counts as "in posession". Any help will be appreciated.

Yes, having a keeper on the ground in front of you, touching the robot is allowed, as long as the entire keeper is within the homezone.

Yah i agree, as long as you are touching it you are in possession of it

Re: Autonomous keepers

this is all correct but you dont have to start with a keeper if you dont want to. If you dont the refs will just remove it before the start of the match.

Having it on the ground just barely touching our bot is what we did and had a succesful auto mode using that method.
