Neither do I. From the best I understand it, they riged up a cannon, shot it, then tried to get the suction cup back on and it didn't work. That's my best guess.

My interpretation: the air cannon is fed pressurized air through an solenoid air valve. They were opening the valve by pressing the manual relief open button (the small orange one). They since wired the solenoid to fire electrically, but it won't allow the necessary air pressure through.

My suggestion is to check the solenoids and make sure that the 24 volt coils have been replaced with the FIRST-provided 12 volt coils.

Hey, Kevin, I just noticed that your team #2140 and ours #975 have the same name - Synergy.

Well, the best way for us to help you is for you to tell us -how- it's working currently, what's hooked part wise and what it does, and how you want it to work/want it to do. Right now your problem is a little vague, some more info and we can give you a ton of ideas for help.

well we got it to get it to hold pressur but when we release the air to shoot the ball. it would shoot out about 3 to 4 in.

Re: air cannon

1. You're shooting out balls from a pnuematic powered cannon and this has nothing to do with this year's game. Correct?

2. How big is the ball?

3. How big is your barrel?

4. Have you searched the forums yet? There's a bunch of threads about pnuematic cannons and T-Shirt launchers.

There's lots of folks that can help you out, but please give us something to work with!!
