Just get out the SOHO cups, 20 2-L bottles of [A&W root] beer, a couple ping pong balls, and we'll have ourselves a pregame for it! :D

If there's an event, people will find a way to pregame for it. ;)

What? How would that be scaring away the mentors? The pregame sounds like more fun than a dance. :ahh: I'm not a dance person, but I do randomly dance like the white guy I am.

so, will this be open to all or just teams staying in hotel?being an old fart,parent, mentor, i'm not sure i or hotel would appreciate 150 teams showing up when word got out that there was a "PARTY AT HYATT". i know you guys are a special group of kids,and the only thing i worry obout is you guys might figure out how to take over world, but it could get bigger than you think.remember alot more people look at cd then just post.with that being said,910 out of michigan is staying there, and i'm sure some if not all would show up. will bring it up at next meeting and get you some numbers.

Our team has a schedule/itinerary and if you could give me as much info as possible on what activities there will be, then i will be bring it up to our mentors, and hopefully then edit our plans that night.

this is such a great way to meet people from other teams, early on in the competition, make new friends to spend the weekend with... before saying goodbye again on saturday night....

i think team 399 might be my new favorite team. thank you for planing this. :D if it is the robo-prom, can it be semiformal.... (collared shirts & short dresses...that could fit in duffle bags...) yay!
