Re: Robo~Prom

i really hope my mentors will be ok with me going
i'll definatly dress up semi formal
i think this will be an awesome oppertunity for me to meet alot of new people and should be really fun
and im really busy during the day at competitions, so i dont get to interact with everyone as much as i would like
this would be perfect for me

I'm interested, I'll try and bring it up to some of the other members/mentors. Do you have any idea what the times would be? That would probably be our limiting factor as to whether or not we can go..

Our mentors are in conversation about this. As long as the hotel is ok with it, considering how many people seem to want to come, you will need to come up with a time, food, drinks, a method for collecting money, and so on. Good luck on your planning, it would be a fun event.

Basically, we have a 100 person occupantcy room from the hotel. Im not sure how to do this, but anyone who has said that there were comming for sure on chiefdelphi, i will keep that amount of space for your team. Please just let me know how many plans on attending.
Thanks

Which sponsor is that, Brit?

No decision yet. I don't have any volunteers for chaperones.

Re: Robo~Prom

I'd be there, but if I go to atlanta, I'll be getting there in the middle of the day.

:(

It's a really great idea, though! Have fun!

Re: Robo~Prom

Since it's a robotics prom all the tuxes and dresses should be duct tape.
Just a thought.

Re: Robo~Prom

Do you know what time it will be? I think for some teams it will depend on what time it ends, if they are able to go.

Pavan.

Re: Robo~Prom

How about I show up there with whatever I am wearing at that point of time? That's cool right? ok good.

Now, next request, can we please have Dan Richardson as the DJ? He is a professional DJ. Also, he has done many offseason and FLL competitions. The crowd doesn't stop dancing when he is the dj.

Wendy rejected me for her husband. Now, I need a date.

Re: Robo~Prom

I'd be interested. When would it be? So I can tell my team and see if they'd be interested in going
