I like FIRST because it has made me a better person.
I like FIRST because I have to use communication skills which will help me in the future.
I like FIRST for giving me the opportunity of working with engineers who inspire me and make me want to strive for my best.

I love FIRST for the mentors.

I love FIRST because there's always at least one person I know at an event I go to.

I love FIRST because of the weird connection I have with those people. [Somehow, through a simple AIM chat, I can become really close friends with so many people.] KFC TEAM ZERO!

I love FIRST not because of how well [or not] my team might do at a regional, but just because of the excitement of the event.

I love FIRST because of all the lives it's made a difference in.

I love FIRST because of the difference it's made in mine.

I just....love FIRST!

I love FIRST because I love seeing all the creativity and design skill.

I love FIRST for all the people I meet.

I love FIRST because in Update 17 they have restored my confidence that they are listening. Maybe we don't like all the answers they gave or the results of the answers, but at least they showed they are hearing the questions.

I love FIRST because it’s given me SOO many new friends from SOO many new places

I love FIRST because I get to work with some of the best students, parents, teachers, and mentors there are… thanks guys

I love FIRST because of the deadlines, the competition, and the great role models I have in front of me to emulate

I love FIRST because I can walk away from every meeting so frustrated and be yelling at myself for becoming team president, but within an hour, I can’t help but wait for next week’s meeting

…and the list goes on and on…

I LOVE FIRST because it gives me a chance to see the cool part of the world

I LOVE FIRST because finally nobody mocks my dancing

I LOVE FIRST because the jocks of FIRST have the largest IQs not the smallest like at my school

I LOVE FIRST because it gives me a chance to take an idea that is so crazy.........it just might work!

But really first is one of the greatest parts of my life from to people ive met to the places ive been to the things ive heard i still love comming back every single day.

I love FIRST because I get soooo excited when my friends win and it's like I won too because I get soooo excited [congrats Team 75 on winning Chesapeake today] :)

I Love FIRST because it has made me a better person as far as more outgoing.

I Love FIRST because I can teach people what I have learned through my years on the team.

I Love FIRST because it has showed me that winning has nothing to do with what you have accomplished

I Love FIRST because I have made friends with students and mentors that I work alongside with over the years that I have been involved with this program.

I love FIRST because it allows High school students to do what most adults think is too hard.

I love FIRST because we get to inspire the next generation of inventors.

I love FIRST because of all the awesome people that I've become good friends with. :D

I love FIRST because I was a shy freshman four years ago; now I'm an outgoing people person.

I love FIRST for all the inspiration; for both the inspiration I've received and the inspiration I've spread around.

I love FIRST for everything I've learned. One of the proudest moments in my FIRST career was when my my first CNC part came back from the paperless design-to-manufacture process and worked flawlessly.

I love FIRST so much I never want to quit. :p

I LOVE FIRST because the teams dont riot if the ref makes a bad call.

I LOVE FIRST because it turned me into a robot pirate!

I LOVE FIRST because even if a team is your opponent one match, they can turn around and be your alli the next.

I LOVE FIRST because half my team lost thier voices cheering for us.

I LOVE FIRST because it gave me the chace to hug a bear, a chicken, and a skunk!

I LOVE FIRST because we're making robots for fun!

I love FIRST becuase it allows me to be who I truly am.

I love FIRST because, acording to my mom, I finally found my nerdy sport (heck yes :D)

I love FIRST because I do what I do best, that is mess with mechanical stuff and work on things with my hands, and design things with my head.

I love FIRST because it is one of the only sport/activities that requires the mind and not just brute strength.

I love FIRST because when our bus pulled up next to 203's (who had just kicked our butts in the finals), both teams pulled down the windows and started shouting.

I love FIRST because both teams were shouting "You guys rock!" "Great match!" "We love you guys!" etc.

I dare you to find that in another competitive sport...
