OK... Here we go. PI Time Round 2....
Even though it is really 13:59:26:53, using a regular clock, its 1:59:26:53. OK, so here's a link to the Pi page: http://pi.ytmnd.com/ And the song is embedded here: http://content.ytmnd.com/content/8/8...fb848e1340.mp3 This is the best Pi song I have EVER heard. EVER. BTW, my PI day post on my vLog is here: http://youtube.com/watch?v=fNFPRnZrCXw I will post Round 2 later. Well, happy Pi day! Jacob |
Re: Happy Pi Day!!!!!
I am disappointed in google who didn't adjust their title page to celebrate this holiday... oh well.
That said, happy pi day everyone. Our human race can be proud that we have at least got it down to a useful computational symbol. -Joe |

Happy Pi day to everyone.

Re: Happy Pi Day!!!!!
At school we went crazy at 1:59:26.
Anyone know if anything happened on March 14th, 1592, the true pi day (especially at 6:53)? Happy Pi day. |
Re: Happy Pi Day!!!!!
I set my alarm to 1:59:26 so during the middle of my Physics class, it went off. I also printed a piece of paper with pi on it and taped it to my shirt all day.

Re: Happy Pi Day!!!!!
Team 1676 the Pascack Pi-o-neers would like to thank everyone on the planet for helping celebrate our day.:D We were so caught up in the festivities (baking all yesterday, eating today...) that we forgot to post here on CD.:ahh:
Kudos to whytheheckme for getting the time right.:) Billfred, wouldn't that be 13:59? Don |

Re: Happy Pi Day!!!!!
I went into every class saying "Happy pi day!!!" Not many people got what I meant :( And one teacher heard me yell it in the hallway and said, "It's not technically Pi Day for another 8 years!" I said, "Pi day is TODAY!!! Now I want some pi(e)!!" =] I love being the odd one haha

Re: Happy Pi Day!!!!!
I listened to the mp3 at the link that I posted, and I heard the Real Pi. Perhaps you are referring to a different version?

Re: Happy Pi Day!!!!!
Pi Day, yay~ Our team was out all day writing digits of pi with chalk on campus. We got 6800ish digits done, so close to 7000 but the school day ended so we quit. And we were almost out of chalk.
Someone on our team also memorized 45 digits of pi... because the 43rd, 44th, and 45th happen to be our team number. it's pretty sweet. 3.141592653589793238462643383279502884197169399 |
