Not my picture, obviously I can't draw that well, however I enjoy using it as a desktop on my laptop. Also, when I leave it on the pit table I always get compliments from people.

Well, after I updated my background today, I remembered this thread. Figured I'd dig it up and post mine.

Hurrah. You can tell by the files and program shortcuts that I actually allow space on my desktop that I'm a CAD junkie.

It may just be me, but in my opinion the best setup is apple computer, apple layout. Maybe its just me. :p

I mean fist has sold tens of dozens of copies.

(sorry I couldn't resist- even though I am not on my mac right now)

To make it look even more genuine, search Google for "uxtheme.dll patch", then head on over to deviantart.com and download this theme. (Locking the taskbar with the new theme will help even more.) And if you really want to overboard, you can even hit up some OS X icons as well.

I currently use the previously linked theme and icons on my laptop, as Apple's Aqua theme is much easier on the eyes than the default Windows Luna (XP) or even Aero (Vista) themes, as both of them are too visually 'distracting' and try too hard for your attention. (Which is exactly the opposite to how a well-run operating system should work. You should never notice the operating system you use; it should be the applications and task at hand that should demand your attention.) ;)

Here's mine (click for full-size). I took the photo at Chesapeake, and found it again the other day looking through iPhoto. Hasn't been fiddled with (except, obviously, to scale it to 1024x768).
