Website Award/ Inventor website Question
When looking at the website for these awards, if a "not found" error appearers, what is done? Do the judges try to access it again later? I am asking because the server our website and inventor website is on has been shutting down, what i consider to be frequently, making our websites "not found". the server they are on is 1and1.com, they recently moved our sites to a new database, but i don't know if our sites have all ready been judged. I also want to know if we will be penalized for 1and1.com's system failure, which is completely out of our hands?

If it shows up like that, then they skip it and move on.

Re: Website Award/ Inventor website Question
That's the problem with 1and1. I've never had much luck with them back when I first started with serious webmastering.
Not only are the unreliable, but their control panel is horrible, and their rules are much too strict especially when it comes to their mySQL database. |
Re: Website Award/ Inventor website Question
thanks, now i just hope they looked at it while it was working, since 1and1 moved it to a new database its been fine
