Wow, that's pretty cool. And at least the spider foot came off between auton and teleoperated control and didn't have to cause a match reset!

Ironically, if 8 didn't do that during autonomous, 1425 probably wouldn't have scored. It was because the rack was shaking that allowed for the ringer to fall off of the stinger and onto the leg.

Pure programming geniuses! I could see this happening based on past years crazy autonomous mishaps, very rare and very exciting.

gotta love 8's autonomous rack shaking there, but that was just a beautiful score. the semi there was disappointing, but nice job 1425, 254 and 1983.
btw, the match was stopped to fix the rack, but autonomous was not replayed.

That was pretty awesome. Our autonomous actually served it's purpose once. Congrats on the victory 1425, 254, and 1983.

As a programmer for 1425 I'd love to say that we had a dedicated x86 processor doing physics calculations of the tube on the fly that resulted in that score....

But we don't :-D.

That was actually the first time in a while the autonomous mode worked that poorly...it stopped much shorter of the rack than it normally does - but I guess it worked out.
