Robot Class: 1 - 4" 120lbs
Drivetrain: 4 wheel, 2 speed, 2 Cim motors per side
Speed: 5fps in low, 13fps in high
Ground Clearance: Less than 1/4" (yes it's pretty low haha)
Arm: 90* tilt and boom
Extension: Bottom and middle row (prefer bottom)
Gripper: tilts parallel (or perpendicular) to ground. picks tube up from inside/outside by using the gripper to close tightly and then tilt and raise boom to prefered scoring level
Pick up Method: Floor
Ramp: We are the ramps; ramps are less than a 9* angle; robots drive up and we lift to 18 inches
Results: Not so hott at NJ Regional haha, Better results at LI Regiona - didn't move on though (qualified by receiving Engineering Inspiration)
Strengths: Lifting 1-2 robots 18 inches in under 5 seconds

Speed: forgot... probably about 8fps or 9...
Ground Clearance: dunno...
Arm: 1 jointed arm
Extension: scores all three rows
Gripper: pneumatic grip
Pick up Method: floor
Ramp: 13" pneumatic lifters (1" ground clearance)
Results: LA Finalists, SD Champions
Strengths: rapid, consistent scorer (6-7 if left alone, 4-5 with defense), fast lifters (about 2-3 seconds for the lift), good defense (won SD with our defense against 368 to stop their spoiler)

... or I could be biased about our strengths since i'm the driver :D

Ground Clearance: low, but can still climb ramps easily
Arm: shoulder and wrist joint
Extension: all three levels
Gripper: electric screw grips tubes from inside
Pick up Method: floor or opposing alliance wall
Ramp: none, but climbs well
Results: 13 of 59 at GLR and 16 of 54 at WMR
Strengths: Drivers well practiced and skilled in both offense and defense, gripper picks up tubes quickly and doesn't require precision, robust robot

Gripper: Claw that rotates 90 degrees to pick off ground or human load
Pick up Method: Anything but one of fastest human loads we've seen
Ramp: Yes, 10-11 degrees hold 1 robot 13" perhaps a second at 12" (nobody tried)
Results: Quarter Finalists at SVR and one of the top scorers there
Strengths: Experienced, smart driver. Quick at hanging tubes and good defensive strategy if needed. Fast robot

Nobody has mentined us. Perhaps cuz SVR wasn't on webcast. I'm surprised, we may slip under the radar after all =D

I remember seeing your robot perform in the elimination matches at SVR on the webcast :confused:. I remember a good scoring robot.

Arm: Two jointed arm w/ parallelogram design and pinching style gripper (about 6 to 7ft long, 4ft with limiters)
Grapping Style: Off the ground
Ramps: None
Result: GLR #2 seed and Champion (along with 503 and 1015), BMR #7 seed and quarterfinalist.
Strengths: Consisitent scoring and ability to evade defense via meccanums.

Arm: One joint for the arm, another joint for the gripper
Gripper: "Claw" like, holds from the sides of the tube
Pick up Method: Mainly Floor
Ramp: Ramp for 2, 12"
Results: Israeli Regional head of winning alliance, Motorola Quality award
Strengths: Hang tubes very fast, picks tubes from the floor even faster... Highly maneuverable and has very experienced drivers. We even have autonomous mode...
