1114, 67, 469, 330, 118--Some of the biggest guns this year, and at least three of those five have won a regional. I'm not going to make any predictions about alliances until the picking. |
Re: CURIE Discussion - 2007 Championship
I think the hybrid ramp/ringer bots will be the key to victory in Championship elimination rounds. Curie has 3 of the best in 330, 469, and 1114.

No more than two of the following teams will be on the same alliance, barring a miracle: 67, 330, 469, 1114, any other good hybrid-class robot. |
Re: CURIE Discussion - 2007 Championship
I completely forgot HOT was a hybrid too

Re: CURIE Discussion - 2007 Championship
Cyberblue will be coming into this division with 2 regional victories at Boilermaker and LI.

Re: CURIE Discussion - 2007 Championship
We're a hybrid, too.

Re: CURIE Discussion - 2007 Championship

Re: CURIE Discussion - 2007 Championship
I'm speechless...............seriously.........I am.
At the same time, I'm really pumped for this division, due to the level of competition and the headache pretty much everyone has to go through for the alliances. I'm also happy to see that our partners in crime from NASA/VCU (semi-finalists) 343 and from Chesapeake (Finalists) 339 are in the same division. May be if the stars allign well, we can group up again and rock this division ;) 612 is indeed a hybrid bot........but we are also known as Quote:

Team 141 is a hybrid as well...and we're pumped for the championship.
It shall be a good division. I can't wait =D |
Re: CURIE Discussion - 2007 Championship
Ramps are going to be big factor. This was proven during the finals at the Palmetto Regional. Hybrid robots combined with great defense is going to be huge.

Re: CURIE Discussion - 2007 Championship
*FYI
1535 is not a rookie team, last year we were half of team 1596 - the International Instigators - but grew too large and split into 1596 and 1535. This is our 3rd year and 2nd time in Atlanta (2005 Rookie All-Stars at GLR in Ypsilanti). Looking forward to joining all of our friends again this year. see you all in ATL! |
Re: CURIE Discussion - 2007 Championship
