JasJ002, crashing a supercomputer can't be fun! I totally sympathize. This picture alone took 15 minutes:

(BTW, here's our camera, http://academics.tridenttech.edu/tea...n_assembly.jpg
Does 103 have a pic they'd like to post?)

Out of curiosity, is Autodesk going to provide a voting booth at nationals? Has FIRST sent out any info about the voting? From e-mailing teams, it seems most are unaware of the process.

I'm pretty sure that the voting was only specifically mentioned in a regular Update, when the said that voting would occur on FIRSTbase. Particulars weren't given.

I think on Thursday or Friday afternoon, there's going to be a luncheon hosted by Autodesk for all FIRST students on teams who submitted for the Inventor and Visualization awards. I know I got an e-mail about that from my subteam mentor, you might want to contact yours.

Isn't that just for the 5 finalists for each award?

Uh, check with Autodesk? As a college student all I saw was "free lunch" and said, sure I'll go! :D

The luncheon is by invitation only for the 5 finalist teams.

Why don't Inventor students get together Thursday? Maybe in the afternoon, on one of the outside halls and then we can either go outside in one of the park areas, or stay in one of the upstairs halls?

The answer to yesterday's question from Stephen is...

5 students took six weeks of designing (and redesigning) to model the 497 parts needed to complete this year's version of Bernie. For our team, probably one of the most challenging parts was the tube gripper.

Now, the next question is...

What can YOU do to be more involved in FIRST?

VOTE!!!

Register with your team password at:

www.autodesk.com/firstbase

and vote for the Autodesk Inventor entry of your choice.

Tell all your fellow FIRST students, don't let our competition go unnoticed.

Good luck to all of the top 5!!!!
