I like my air free and breathable. I wonder how much they save on chocolate costs by mixing air bubbles into the candy bar? :)

I always liked Dots - they often gave those out at Halloween.

ET had it right, though - Reese's Pieces are the best.

I agree dots are pretty good.... I usually can find them at the local CVS in the candy isle, but its not like you can just get a small package, you have to buy a big box, and that kind of stinks....

It was basically crystallized ginger... burned your mouth and throat, and made you want to puke. Yes, it was a candy, and it was imported from Africa (i believe).

I love that stuff!!! It's candy to me, I just can't stop eating it when I get some. And you can get it at most supermarkets in the nuts and dried fruit section.
Going on...

Best:
1. Crystallized ginger
2. York Peppermint Pattie
3. Extra Dark Chocolate

Worst:
1. Licorice
2. A disgusting black candy that I got in Canada
3. Prank candy (start off as one flavor, turn into another)

Yah... They are pretty good, but they have to be somewhat new (less then a year old) if they are too old, they get extremely hard and hurt your teeth... AbbaZabbas were huge in the movie Half Baked with Dave Chappelle if you have ever seen that....:) (Great Movie)

There is a neat store here in Austin that has lots of candy bins, like the candy bins I used to see when I was young and lived in Kirkland Lake, Ontario, Canada. I could leave early for school and stop by and ooh and aah over all the colors and flavors in those glass jars and bins, nose pressed to the glass. Great memories.

When I shop in those bins and jars now, I shop for black licorice wheels. Those are great fun to eat.
Root and plant based candies such as licorice and ginger are pungent and strong - some would almost consider them medicine and they have been used for that as well. Licorice is not for the weak or faint of heart. (waxing poetic here) . :)
