Re: 2008 Regional Dates
If you are deeply concerned, contacting the planning committee is your best bet. Here are a couple other things you can try:
If the event is at a university, there is a high probability that it will be near the school's spring break when athletic teams and events aren't using the facilities as much as they normally would. If the event is at any sort of conference center / stadium, they may have a calendar of events for the year that lists FIRST as some sort of conference or competition (generally listed as open to public). It may be wise, though, to have a couple back-up plans ready in case the dates you want really really don't work out - somebody mentioned Easter as a mid-competition season big holiday, that is definitely something to look at. |
Re: 2008 Regional Dates
i hope that seattle is week 6 because we want to go hawaii and then go straight to seattle, that would make a fun First filled week.

On another note, it looks like there will only be about 15 slots or so for non-Hawaii teams. :( |
Re: 2008 Regional Dates
I spoke yesterday with Donn Griffith at USC; Palmetto is still getting nailed down. He said things should be official in a few weeks.

After speaking with "___," VCU will be during week 2..........."unofficially."
Can anyone confirm the FLR week? We want to attend but heard from other sources that it may be during week 2 or 3? |

Careful you might crack from the temperature difference (If you need a good reference point watch Cool Runnings for the scene when the Jamacians first experience winter in Calgary. That's sort of upstate NY). |

Re: 2008 Regional Dates
Does anyone happen to know which week Boilermaker regional will be in?
If no one knows, can someone at least tell me which week it usually is in? |

Re: 2008 Regional Dates
I heard a rumor that the Midwest Regional and the Boilermaker Regional were going to be on different weekends this year. Does anyone know if this is true? Cause I'd really like to be able to go to both. :)
