Just 3 spots left at BattleCry!
 

Registration opened 3 hrs ago for BattleCry@WPI 8. We have just 3 spots remaining! I strongly recommend teams continue registering (at www.wpi.edu/+battlecry) until we get at least 6 reserve teams (54 total). In year's past we have almost always gone down to the 4th or 5th reserve team as others drop out. But don't delay--chances of getting into this 2-day, 48-team event is not very likely after today....

As of 12:28 today, we have filled our 48 spots! There are still spots on the waiting list, and typically, we get several of these waiting list spots to go on through.

Unfortunately we were just a little too late and ended up as the first ones on the waiting list. Given history, we ought to be getting in anyways, but if not....

Anyone up for the return of a placebo bot for the last team on the waiting list that wants to bring their robot anyways?

Bring your robot--and your team! In the last 6 years we have ALWAYS needed our reserves to fill vacancies. Besides, not only are you folks part of the 2007 world champion alliance, but (more impressively!) you are THREE-time BattleCry Victors (2001, 2004, 2006)!

We're batting .500 for our performance in 6 years at BattleCry (Did not attend in 2003 - for this same reason).
