Only Woody would be able to wear Chucks to meet the President.[/quote]

I do agree, he probably is the only person in the world that could get away with wearing Chucks and not be frown upon.

Aluminum is only necessary for US teams- and it's included in Firefox's dictionary. For some reason, British people can only get aluminium, which is a slightly weaker metal in most alloys and treatments, much to the frustration of the Brits. In fact, the fall of the great British empire and subsequent rise of America can easily be attributed to this disparity between available metals. Quite a shame, really.

The Chucks are an important part of Woodie's wardrobe, and that eccentricity seems pretty integral to my vision of FIRST. Besides, the people he has to meet are probably so caught of guard that he can move the conversation however he wants! (Off to look for a pinstripe Oxford and some neon orange chucks...)

Dear Woodie, if you are reading this, I think I speak for the rest of my team by saying this, but you are our hero. Espcially with you wearing the chucks at the White House.
