I love the 2003 Bins because I use them as storage and when I move they are a great help.

I will like the tubes this year when I go to the pool.

Gotta love the "floppy" from '99. We still have about 10-12, and use them to help pack the robot in the crate each year.

I'm with Andy. We do the same thing.

They also make great pillows ;)

Lets see, these are the game pieces 587 has
Year - Piece - Use
2001 - Balls - Can be thrown at people
2002 - Balls - Can be thrown at people
2003 - Bins - Anything from drills to buttons can be stored in them
2004 - Balls - Can be thrown at people, chair
2005 - Tetrahedron - No known use
2006 - Poof Balls - Can be thrown at people, cushion, soft mechanical stop
2007 - Tubes - Can be thrown at people, superultimate frisbee

Pretty easy to see which are my favorites, the 2006 and 2003 game pieces. 2003 edges out 2006 though, since you don't always need a soft mechanical stop or cushion, but, in my experience, a FIRST team can never have too much storage.

Hmm, I like the 2007 tubes... tell a newbie you need them to blow one up so you can show them the arm... twenty mins later ask why they didn't use the compressor. Always fun.

Also, the 2003 bins are good at storing stuff.

the 2006 Poof balls are always fun to throw at people.

I like the floppies from '99, although we don't have any left... it's been a very long time and I'm sure there's gotta be one sitting at Genesis (where we used to build the robot) somewhere.

2003 has to be the best visual game piece. I loved watching them just... explode.

I think that I liked the poof balls the best because it brought back the best sport ever! DODGE BALL!

I like the 2003 bins because they explode into a bazillion pieces if you hit 'em right. And they were loud when they fell.

Always been a fan of Torroid Terror, so the torroids have always been my favorite game piece, even before this year. Runners up are for the niftyness that were the '05 tetras, and the floppies from '99, which as previously mentioned, make great pillows.

The poof balls were great. There were so many uses for them. Better than that the game was so fun!
