Stay away from the internet if you really wanna read the book in a hardcover rather than printed pages. Apparently a copy of the book is being hosted on torrents according to Digg.com.

yeah the entire book is out. Everyone will know spoilers in a couple days.

Cover your ears and shut your eyes til midnight on the twentieth, I say.

But I'll warn you to disable your G-Talk. My brilliant friend put the spoiler on his G-talk caption thing and I am sure that many people will pull that on you. Btw, if my friend is right, this book isn't worth reading.

And the rest of them are? :ahh: (I know, I'm the minority in this one.)

I'm not "addicted" to HP. I just think the stories are a bit entertaining after reading JRR Tolkien. LoTR > HP any day. They just don't write like they used to.

Clearly they don't. :D

Update #1 -
I've called Borders at Castleton Corners and the general manager has agreed to crunch some numbers for me.
I've asked for a reserve order of 20 to 30 books - they will get back with me this p.m. and I'll let you know what was actually able to be reserved. We are thinking the fastest most efficient way to handle this.

So far 4 are on the list for me to pick up a book for them.
If anyone else is interested please let me know via pm.
We'll go first come first serve. If this pans out, I may publish your names in the thread to keep things from getting confused.

Update #2
The inventory manager just got off the phone with me and says she is comfortable saying I can have 10 extra copies.
So if 6 more people want to PM me - cool. If not - that's cool, too.
Those who have asked in this thread and also PM'd me are pretty certain to get a book.

Update #3
4 spots left...

The rumor around Indiana is that some locals have seen the book for weeks. You see, there is a big book printing company in Crawfordsville, Indiana, named RH Donnelly. Rumors abound that Donnelly is the place where this book is being printed. There have been reports of armed guards, gate searches, and other types of high security within the book manufacturing plant. Here is a story to tell you more about it.

As usual, Indiana is a bit ahead of everyone else (well, at least these people on Donnelly's production lines).

And finally, the secret is given, Indiana is the source of all of the Harry Potter series. What a surprise
Well, I'm glad I'm not them. Getting a ticket for stopping just to read,
Shouldn't that make us the first ones to get the book?

I actually enjoy the fact that Rowling doesn't spend an entire chapter describing the mountain terrain to me. I could barely make it through the Lord of the Rings series, far too long in my opinion. They were great for making a movie to though because there was a ridiculous amount of detail.

So yeah, no one better ruin the ending for me & others at IRI. That would be mean and not cool.

Alrighty,

Update #4 and last -
Each book = $22.25

That includes the tax.
If each person that has told me that you want a book will bring me your cash some time before Friday evening, we'll get it taken care of. The folks at Borders have been awesome to work with and I am going to enjoy meeting them in person. Folks from Indiana sure know how to make you feel welcome.

I can't believe I'm actually risking getting on the internet before reading the book. But if anyone spoils it for me, they will need more than a horcrux to save them.
