Need Help With Maplab C programming on serial communication
 

I'm new to serial communication, and i'm doing a project on wireless which required a transmitter n a receiver. so now i wanted to try to sent a simple signal through a cable between 2 picdem 2 plus demo board using the serial comm pin RC6 and RC7. But i facing problem on the source code. i can transmit a string of message to a PC using the rs232 connector to the PC comm port. but now i'm stuck on the program to sent out a signal to the other demo board and the code on how to receive the signal. can anyone pls help mi? thx!
