It's episode 24 of How It's Made. No near showings on the Discovery Channel nor The Science Channel were found on their website...

though I did find this....

Re: Segway On Discovery Channel

I was lucky to catch this segment before I had to go to work today, and it was awesome...and you beat me to the boards to inform you of it. I really liked how they actually spent some time explaining the components and not just said "its a box with motors electronics and wheels" they explained the controller, the redundancies, the components, the gyros, the gearbox, and explained how many times a second the machine calculates gravity. It was nice to see the segway completely disassembled and then reassembled before your eyes. A++ to them, I've seen a number of these episodes where they are so so vague, and your like "why did I bother watching?".

Do they have this episode archived so that it can be d/l 'd and be watched. I would have liked to seen something like that explained and built from scratch.

I checked the Discovery site and couldn't find anything.
If I [or anyone else] finds anything, I'm sure we'll let ya know :)
