(Sorry, couldn't resist! I completely forgot I was wearing my safety glasses the whole time until I saw pictures later. Oh, and I straightened my hair (a rarity), although by that part of the day the humidity had killed it.)

A moment too late, Jess remembered just how "pungent" FIRST emcees get working under the hot lights of a playing field all day........

Jessica: "Why don't we leave the field so they can play the next game?"
Andy: "I can't! I'm stuck on the scoring spider. Just reach around and see if you can free me."
Someone in audience: "Awwww, that's precious, they're hugging."

Jess: OK, so I'm thinking we can probably fit in a quick wedding on Einstein at lunchtime... and we can get a Vex robot to carry the rings down the aisle, and the bridal party can arrive on Segways... and the bridesmaids can carry clipboards instead of bouquets... and I can walk down the aisle to the tune of the FIRST theme song... and we can probably "borrow" some of the FIRST centerpieces from one of the Regional's VIP luncheons... and I'm sure we can get Dean Simmons and the Kamen Brothers to play at the wrap party...hmm. I wonder if either Dean or Woody are a Justice of the Peace???
