ROBO PROM AGAIN???
 

I need to know if there is anyone who is interested in attending a robo prom this coming year at The Championship Event. We need to know this as soon as possible so that we can get the necessary funds and know if it would be worth putting on again.

I would definitely go relying on 2 things

- I can make it to championships
- I can find a willing date :o lol

After voting I have realized it depends on what my other friends are doing that night. If they're doing something I might hang out with them instead since not all of them can always make IRI.

Sure if it's available - though I probably wouldn't bother with a date and just go dressed up with friends :).

It sure was fun last year, but, I was younger then than I am now (edit: okay what I mean is I will be a year older then), and it's really just too early to say. At this point I'd say "don't count on it" for myself, but you never know really.

Can someone elaborate on what this exactly is and who can attend? I will plan to go, but I need details. And is there a way to put a maybe on the poll?

I missed it last time and later heard it was quite fun.
Just like the others though, it would depend on what everyone else I know is doing that night... and it really depends what night the prom is on.

When i speak, i am speaking for the five of my team members (including myself) who went to the robo prom last year. We thought it was a great event that was put on, an it was nice mingling with other people in FIRST you usually dont get to talk to, or you havent even met yet. Its just an excuse to dress up with friends and have a good time. I know that a few of my friends who went last year are planning on attending this year, (if there is one), but i will be at college so it a no go for me. It really was a great event, an the only thing i might see as a problem is the people who are not staying in the hotel that is takes place in. I dont know about other teams, but i know my mentors are not very keen on letting us out of our hotel to do stuff without an adult. Other than that one possible issue, i think it would be a great idea to have another robo prom at championships this coming year.

I'd go, sure. I missed it last year because I flew in on Friday, and I'm actually going to be missing my prom for Champs if I go.

I'd totally go , i looked for it last year , missed it , and had to go to a drivers meeting ... lame ... i shoulda gone , I needed a break.

and is this really something you bring a date to ?
My youth group has lots of dances and no one has a date

I heard last year it was all rap and techno

thats perfect for a dance ... maybe a little ska thrown in there too
