Inventor on Vista?
 

Does anyone no is there any way to make inventor run on vista?!?:confused: \

The recently released Service Pack 1 for Inventor includes support for Vista. Visit support.autodesk.com, choose Inventor, go to Downloads from the menu on the left, and download the service pack after installing Inventor on your Vista machine.

Just to avoid confusion...

This Service Pack applies to Inventor 2008, Inventor 11 is not designed work with or supported for Vista.

I have got Inventor 11 to work on Vista before. The only thing was that I had no content library which I hardly ever use. You basically skip the main install screen and you find the setup.exe for inventor in the folders which will do the job.

I tried to get inventor 11 to run on vista forever, and had no real success.



However, 2008 runs flawlessly

Inventor 11 will work on vista, just prepare for random file corruptions. however inventor 2008 works perfectly in Vista, been using if for 2 weeks strait with no problems.

i would say that 'random file corruptions' would indicate that inventor 11 is not 'working' properly on vista...just my opinion

I said it would work, never said anything about it working like it should =P
