I have been involved one way or another for 3 years and I can't seem to cut it down to just one best memory so I will list a few

#1 would be the first kickoff for 1902 when a group of 25 people, most of whom had never met immediatly bonded over the video and then spent the next 8 hours designing and troubleshooting and listening and learning.

#2 is watching the look of horror on the teams face when we realized we had to compete against PINK in the semi-finals at Florida, then the look of amazements when we beat them.

#3 getting Rookie All star that year

#4 my sons face (drive team) when we won Galileo in Atlanta

#5 Jane (418) Libby, Billfred, Maddie, Tytus, Arefin, Brian and all the others from all over the country

#6 Being in Las Vegas this year with 4 other Florida teams, sitting in a block screaming each others cheers showing LV how we roll in Florida

but the best was at Florida last year.

There was a team that was falling apart both emotionally and robotwise and we gathered several mentors from several teams and within an hour you could look down on their pit and see shirts from about 8 different teams helping them redesign and build a robot that went on to win its first match. That to me defines the spirit of FIRST.

That was amazing, you are right about that, Wendy. It did define the spirit of FIRST.

Florida teams rocked in 2007, no doubt about it!
