There has been a lot of speculation and many questions about where and when the Lone Star Regional will be this year. We have recieved confirmation that the Lone Star Regional will be at the Merrel Center in Katy. It will be a 4th week regional which puts us at March 20-22. As soon as we have all the information and all our teams registered we will be sending out all the important information. Thank you for your patience,

Thanks for making it official I guess. I know I was waiting on these dates to be released because that week is my district's spring break.

As for anybody who wants some information about it right now before all of the official FIRST stuff comes out, here is the website for the Merrel Center with a bit of information about the facility and layouts and stuff.

Wow, this is probably better for teams traveling to Houston since its more out of the way of traffic. However, the space difference from Reliant is going to be significant. I trust the FIRST leadership decision and I am already looking forward to the Lone Star Regional !
